Return & Refund Policy

Bar Code Nepal Inc. Pvt. Ltd. (“we”, “our”, “us”) aims to ensure complete customer satisfaction while maintaining fair and transparent return and refund practices. This policy outlines the conditions under which products may be returned or refunded.

1. Eligibility for Returns

  • The product is defective, damaged during transit, or incorrectly supplied
  • The issue is reported within 48 hours of delivery
  • The product is unused, uninstalled, and in its original condition, including all accessories, manuals, warranty cards, and original packaging
  • Products that are custom-configured, special-order items, or software licenses may not be eligible for return unless explicitly agreed in writing.

2. Non-Returnable Items

  • Products damaged due to misuse, improper installation, electrical issues, or negligence
  • Consumables such as labels, ribbons, cartridges, batteries, or accessories once opened
  • Software, licenses, subscriptions, or digital products once activated
  • Products returned without original packaging or with missing components
  • Clearance, discounted, or end-of-life products unless defective at the time of delivery

3. Return Request Process

To initiate a return, customers must:

  1. Contact our support team with the order reference, invoice number, and detailed reason for return
  2. Provide photographic or video evidence where applicable
  3. Obtain Return Authorization approval before sending the product back

Returns sent without prior authorization may be rejected.

4. Inspection & Approval

  • All returned products will be inspected upon receipt.
  • If the return meets eligibility criteria, it will be approved for replacement, repair, or refund as applicable
  • If the product fails inspection, it may be returned to the customer at their expense

5. Refund Policy

  • Refunds are issued only after successful inspection and approval
  • Approved refunds will be processed to the original mode of payment unless otherwise agreed

  • Refunds may be subject to deductions for handling, testing, or restocking where applicable.

6. Replacement & Repair

  • In many cases, defective products may be repaired or replaced instead of refunded, in accordance with manufacturer warranty terms
  • Replacement timelines depend on product availability and supplier policies

7. Warranty Claims

Products covered under manufacturer warranty should be claimed as per the respective brand’s warranty policy. Bar Code Nepal Inc. Pvt. Ltd. may assist in facilitating warranty claims but does not guarantee immediate replacement or refund unless specified.

8. Return Shipping Costs

  • If the return is due to a verified defect or incorrect supply, return shipping may be covered by Bar Code Nepal Inc. Pvt. Ltd.
  • For all other approved returns, shipping and logistics costs are borne by the customer

9. Limitation of Liability

Bar Code Nepal Inc. Pvt. Ltd. shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or inability to use the product.
